Silence Craves a Voice Book Launch Saturday, March 30

February 25, 2019

The collection of poems are about Mother Nature — how she struggles without complaint and her need for advocates.

Please join Neil at 10:30 am at the Bayside Café, 2760 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, BC, for the launch of his new collection of poetry, Silence Craves a Voice.

The book is organized into three sections:
Noise of the City — how community living causes us to override concerns about the natural world upon which we depend;
Search for Silence — seeking and accepting Mother
Nature as she is — raw, jagged, beautiful; and
When the Stones Begin to Speak — about finding a way to reconnect with Nature.

It is the author’s hope this collection leads the reader to a renewed optimism about Mother Nature’s future.

Neil looks forward to seeing you at the launch. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Silence Craves a Voice will go to support the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

Mother Nature Eats Her Kind

Alive with images of the natural world (both beautiful and brutal),
Neil Garvie reveals the worldly rhythms within which we are intrinsically entwined and connected.
